Milestones

FIRST TALK
Aidan wrote his first talk; it was on "baptismal covenants" for Primary.  He actually finished it Sunday, June 12.*



* Did he write the entire talk by himself?  We provided him with good source material, some guidance and a few phrases.  But we loved that he tackled the talk with zeal and finished it one sitting.

FIRST TIED SHOELACES
Aubrie tied her first shoelaces.** 

** Her laces are going through a different hole, but in appearance, it's the perfect knot.

FIRST BOOK READ
On a car ride to Joliet last Tuesday, Aubrie read 18 pages of "Junie B. Jones is a Party Animal".  Technically, the first book she read was "Hop on Pop" by Dr. Zeuss last year.  This is her first chapter book.
