Meet by the Heat

With winter has arrived a new Li family tradition: getting dressed by the heat of the vent.

At night, we set the thermostat to 55 degrees. In the morning, our kids mosey downstairs and huddle in front of the vent. You can almost see their warm breath meet the cold air. Just kidding in case you're with the Department of Children &Family Services. After about 5-10 minutes, they feel brave enough (==warm enough) to shed their footie pajamas and dress.

HAHA, my kids wouldn't even think about shedding their jammies if it was that cold in our house! Although, I understand your children's dilemma...it's 53 in my lab right now. This building has the most ridiculous temperature controlling system.
