M&Ms Vending Machine

This past Thursday, Aug. 20--our 10th wedding anniversary--the Li family ventured to the Museum of Science & Industry. We saw a U-505 WWII sub, hatching chicks and a chemistry "magic" show, among other fun things.

On the way out of the museum, I caught sight of an M&Ms vending machine. There is probably no greater candy on earth than peanut M&Ms. Others must agree w/my assessment because the vending machine was smack in the center--you couldn't miss it.

As a side note, Aubrie's favorite part was riding the Metra train. Aidan said he enjoyed everything.

In the evening, Ginger and I dined at a new Indian restaurant called Sam's Rasoi in Oak Forest. The buffet was $8. It was fantastic! There were three kinds of naan, including garlic and "goti." We drank some "Cold Duck" sparkling grape juice I brought along. Ginger said it was the best she's had.

We also were entertained by a lovely Indian soap opera on TV. The father was walking into the river slowly, ready to commit suicide. Before he reached the middle of the water, the camera showed extreme closeups of his loved ones crying, about 5-6 times.

Ginger and I felt like crying too. Too bad there wasn't a camera to capture our tears.
